Business:
Email Requirements
1 Passport Requirements: Original passport and one photocopy of information page. The passport must be signed, valid for 6 months beyond stay and with at least one blank visa page available for visa stamp(s). Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for visa stamps.
2 Visa Application Form: Two visa application forms per applicant properly completed and signed. Signature must be original on each application. Fill out the application on-line, print two copies and sign both applications.
3 Photo Requirements: One recent 2 x 2 passport type photograph, in color, front view and with a plain/light background.
4 Official Invitation: Please note the following specifications for each jurisdiction:
Washington DC and Los Angeles: A letter of invitation from the host company/inviting organization –OR- a business cover letter from your US employer/sponsoring company.
Chicago and Houston: A letter of invitation from the host company/inviting organization.
New York: A letter of invitation from the host company/inviting organization. In some cases, the consulate will require the invitation to be stamped with a government municipal seal.
San Francisco: A letter of invitation from the host company/inviting organization. For multiple entry requests, the official invitation (Visa Notification) issued by the Chinese Provincial Government. The invitation must have the Chinese Municipal seal on it. The visa notification must be original. Copies are not accepted.
5 Business Letter: Letter from US based employer or sponsoring company, on company letterhead, introducing the applicant, indicating the applicant’s employment status/position held in the company, and clearly stating the purpose of visit to China. The business letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant, provide detailed contact information in host country, and specify the number of entries being requested. If a multiple entry visa is requested, 6 months multiple entry or 1 year multiple entry must be specified and the tentative date of future travel must be provided.
6 Proof Of Departure: In Washington DC and San Francisco, an itinerary showing departure within 4 business days is required for emergency visa processing.

Complete the Global Reservation Form: This is Travisa's Service Order Form. You must include a copy of this form with all other supporting documents. (NOTE: Consular fees are NON-refundable. If visa is rejected and resubmitted new consular fees will apply).

Consular Fees
Visa Validity: Visas are issued for single, double or multiple entries according to application request and supporting documents. Length of stay is generally up to 30 days, but longer stays can be issued at the discretion of the Consular officer. Please note: In New York jurisdiction, multiple entry visas are only issued to applicants who provide a copy of a previous Chinese visa. Applicants who have not held a previous Chinese visa can request a single or double entry visa.

4 Business Letter: Letter from employer (i.e. airline) or sponsoring company, on company letterhead, introducing the applicant, indicating the applicant’s employment status/position held in the company, employee number, and clearly stating that the applicant requires a visa as a crew member. Applicants requesting a multiple entry visa to China must provide a letter stating the need for a multiple entry visa and the dates of future travel to the country.
5 Proof Of Departure: In Washington DC and San Francisco, an itinerary showing departure within 4 business days is required for emergency visa processing.
6 Other Requirements: Photocopy of employee/crew ID. Applicants within Los Angeles jurisdiction must submit original crew ID.

Consular Fees
Visa Validity: The Embassy of China will only issue a two year multiple entry "C" type visa to crew members of large commercial airlines such as Northwest, United, Continental, American, FedEx, UPS, Polar Air Cargo and Delta. Crew members of other airlines may be issued a 6 months single/double entry crew visa or a 6 months/1 year multiple entry crew visa at the consulate's discretion.
