Email Requirements
1 Passport Requirements: Original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, with at least one blank visa page available for visa stamp(s). Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for visa stamps.
2 Visa Application Form: Two visa application forms per applicant properly completed and signed. Signature must be original on each application. Improperly completed forms may delay the processing of your visa. Houston jurisdiction: Houston applications must be completed in black ink or typed, in all CAPITAL letters and printed on one page (back-to-back). When printing, select "no page scaling" and uncheck "center and rotate" on the print options.
3 Photo Requirements: One recent 1 3/8 x 1 3/4 inch passport style photograph - head and shoulders, face forward, neutral expression, in color, and with a plain/light background. New York jurisdiction: Multiple entry business visa requests submitted in New York must include two photos, one per application.
4 Official Invitation: Two copies of official invitation issued by the Russian Ministry of the Interior.

Travisa is able to obtain Ministry of Interior business invitations. If you would like us to provide this service, please fill out our request form and include it with your application materials.

Please note: New York and Houston jurisdictions require the original document from Russia. No e-mail or fax copies can be submitted in New York or Houston.
5 Proof Of Departure: To support rush requests submitted in New York, a computer generated flight itinerary from the airline or travel agency or copy of airline tickets is required. All emergency requests must be submitted with an itinerary or copy of tickets.
6 Minors: For accompanying children the Russian visa application form can be completed and signed by a parent. In the case where a minor child's application is being submitted separately from the parents' applications, a photocopy of the parent’s passport information page and an original signed letter from the parent must be included authorizing the Russian consulate to issue the visa and explaining who the minor will be traveling with to Russia.
7 Special Instructions: Please note: as of April 13th, 2009 the Russian government has changed visa processing times and fees.

Complete the Global Reservation Form: This is Travisa's Service Order Form. You must include a copy of this form with all other supporting documents. (NOTE: Consular fees are NON-refundable. If visa is rejected and resubmitted new consular fees will apply).

Consular Fees
Visa Validity: Visas are issued for single, double or multiple entries. The validity and the number of entries are issued according to the dates and number of entries specified on the official invitation, at the discretion of the consulate.
Processing Time: Regular processing time for Russian visas is 4 to 20 business days. Rush processing is available for additional fees. Please visit our Consular Fees page for details. Emergency services are available under certain circumstances where urgent processing is required, at the discretion of the Consulate. Emergency service is defined as any attempt made by Travisa to retrieve the visa in less time than the amount required by the embassy to process the visa.
In order to ensure that visa applications for most embassies/consulates are submitted on the day that we receive them, they should be shipped to us via FedEx Priority Overnight (not First Overnight or Standard Overnight).
Non-refundable tickets or reservations should not be purchased until all visas and passports are secured and in your possession.
